While WAHL National Cutting Competiton (WNCC) prefers that contestants use WAHL clippers, it is not required.

OPEN COMPETITON (Any Style)
General Guidelines
§ Registration deadline is July 18 or until all 10 spots are filled
§ There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner in each category. Prizes to be announced.
§ Registration fee of $80 is due at the time of registration or spot will not be reserved.
§ NCC will provide power strips for 6 clippers.
§ Chair cloth and cutting capes will be provided.
§ All contestants AND models must be at the show and checked in at least one hour before the competition starts. Contestants and models not checked in on time will be disqualified.
§ All contestants are allotted 45 minutes, except for the Fastest Barber competition.
§ Once you step away from your chair and say you are done, you may not do more to the model.
Models
§ Models must sign a photo release for photos taken by WAHLL NCC and I Adams Posters.
§ Models must be at the show and checked in at least one hour before competition o contestant will be disqualified.
§ Models will not be released until they have been judged.
§ Models must pre-qualify (see individual competitions for exceptions).
Judging
§ Competitions will be judged by professional barbers in your category.
§ All competitions will have a uniform scoring system, and totals will be made public.
§ Results will be posted at the end of the competition.
§ Individual scores will be made available in writing to contestants only upon request. Scores will only be mailed by request.
§ Models will not be released until they have been judged.
